What the work looks like

A good model answers the questions you ask on Monday morning. How many sales hires can we afford? What happens to runway if the largest deal slips a quarter? What does a 10% price increase do to churn and cash? We build a driver-based model where revenue, headcount and spend come from a small set of inputs you can see and change.

The model has three linked parts: an operating model by month, a 13-week cash forecast for the near term and a three-year plan for investors. Actuals flow in from your accounting system each month, so budget-vs-actual is a tab, not a project. Scenarios sit side by side, and every assumption has an owner and a source.

We build it in the spreadsheet tool your team already uses, document it and train the person who will run it. A typical build takes three to four weeks. After handover, some clients keep us on a light monthly scope to refresh the forecast and review changes before board meetings.
