Board Reporting
A standing board pack and KPI set, sent three days before each meeting, so the hour goes to decisions instead of arguing about numbers.

Scope
Agreed in writing before work starts
A board pack should take a director 20 minutes to read and leave them with two or three questions worth the meeting. We build a standing pack, typically 10–15 pages, that follows the same structure every time: a one-page summary, KPIs against plan, the financial statements, cash and runway, and a short section for each decision the board is asked to make.
The KPIs come from one definitions sheet, so net revenue retention or days sales outstanding mean the same thing every quarter. Numbers tie to the closed books, and commentary explains each variance rather than restating it. The pack goes out three days before the meeting, and we log the questions that come back so the next pack answers them earlier.
For your next meeting we rebuild the pack from your last two decks and current numbers. After that, a monthly engagement covers the close review, the pack, investor updates between meetings and a partner on the board call when you want one.
Board pack template
A 10–15 page structure (typical) with a one-page summary, KPIs, financials, cash and one section for each decision.
KPI definitions sheet
One agreed definition and data source per metric, so each figure is calculated the same way every quarter.
Monthly management pack
A shorter version for the leadership team each month, built from the same numbers and definitions.
Variance commentary
Written notes on what moved against plan and why, drafted by us and reviewed by you before the pack goes out.
Investor update
A monthly or quarterly update in your voice, with the metrics your investors asked to see.
