Overview

Who it’s for

  • Venture-backed teams with 6–15 months of runway and a raise that depends on the next two quarters

  • SMBs with healthy revenue but a bank balance that swings hard between payroll weeks

  • Founders who learn about a cash shortfall from the bank, not from a forecast

  • Businesses carrying inventory or long receivables, where profit and cash rarely match

What the work looks like

What the work looks like

What the work looks like

Runway is a date, not a feeling. We build a 13-week cash flow forecast from your bank data, payables, receivables and payroll calendar, then update it every Monday with last week’s actuals. You see ending cash for each week, the lowest point in the quarter and the date you would cross your minimum cash line.

Once the forecast is honest, we find the levers. Typical ones include collecting receivables faster, moving vendor terms from 15 to 45 days, timing hires to cash rather than to the calendar and cutting spend that does not show up in revenue. Each lever gets a dollar value and a week, so you can choose which ones to pull and see the new runway before you commit.

The first forecast is usually ready within 10 days. After that, a monthly engagement covers the weekly update, a short variance note and a monthly runway review with you. Many clients fold this into a Fractional CFO scope as a raise or the next budget cycle comes closer.
